An early start this morning is rewarded, with a tranquil and gorgeous sunrise. After a delicious breakfast in the camp, you can choose to leave the camp by camel trekking back, or by a 4×4 vehicle. Leave Merzouga, driving to Fez. On the way, you’ll stop in a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. The valley is full of palm trees and some villages. In the Cedar forest of the Middle Atlas, you may see some Barbary Apes. They’re one of the few species to live in a cold climate. 3 days 2 nights Marrakech to Fes desert tour with Abdo & Said, nothing was ever a hassle, they knew all the stops for great views and photos & they both really made our trip so enjoyable & fun. We had a lot of laughs & learned a lot about Berbers (& good riddles) and always felt like we were in safe hands. This tour Fes to Erg Chebbi Desert was absolutely amazing. Hassan was our driver and tour guide, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, as we drove from Fes to Erg Chebbi. He was very flexible in making stops where and when we wanted, and his English is perfect. He is the real gem. The desert experience is definitely luxurious so don’t worry – it’s more like glamping. Make sure to bring and drink lots of water, and try all the local food. It’s one of a kind!
