Day 1: arrival Casablanca

In the second day, we will visit one imperial city of Morocco, Rabat. We will visit the magnificent Kasbah of Oudayas, Hassan Tower with its uncompleted minaret, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan 2 as well as the Chellah Necropolis.

After lunch, we will travel to Chefchaouen via the city of Ouazzan. We will drive through the breathtaking landscapes of the fertile coastal plains. Next, we continue our road through the foothills of the Rif Mountains before we reach the beautiful pearl city of Morocco, Chefchaouen.

Once we get to the Rif Mountains, you will see a marvelous gate of a wide set valley full of blue buildings, you will identify Chefchaouen. Then, get ready to rest in a nice Riad with Andalusian style at the heart of the old medina. You will have a nice dinner complemented by an aromatic glass of red wine.

Day 3: Chefchaouen Exploration

After having breakfast with a panoramic view from the terrace of your Riad, you will meet the Morocco Travel guide. Then, you will discover the city by feet. The guide will tell you many things about Moroccan culture and the history of the Blue City.

You start your exploration by Chefchaouen’s Kasbah that has been built by the legendary ruler Moulay Ismail in the early 18th century. A city that once served as the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania, and later as one of the southernmost thriving cities of the Roman Empire. The ruins of the lost city offer a fascinating insight that brings to memory the lost times.

After visiting Volubilis, the next historical monuments to see is the granary of Sahrij Swani. Sahrij Souani was built in the 17th century by Sultan Moulay Ismael and was used to store provisions for the army. After that, we will see the royal palace and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. We will enter the Medina via the largest gates Bab Mansour, which were built in 1732, passing the square of Saht Lhdim (a smaller version of Jemaa el-Fnaa square).

Meknes

Within its walls, the rambling streets spiral out into two distinctly different districts divided by a meandering river. You fit deep into Al Quaraouiyine University which is located in the heart of the medina.

Day 7: Merzouga Desert to Dades Valley

After a traditional breakfast in your hotel, we leave the formidable desert and we continue our itinerary towards the city of Rissani. if our tour collides with the day markets, which take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, we will seize the opportunity and see another charming traditional souk. You may find some cheap traditional objects that interest you.

After that, we drive to Erfoud which is a fossil town. Here, you will see stalls selling crystals and precious stones as well as fossils. The workshops using Marmar are open to visitors and contains a lot of scarce products that you may like. We then continue our Morocco itinerary to Dades valley crossing Berber villages like Millab, Tinjdad, Toroug to reach finally Todra valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou Kasbah & Atlas Mountains
